WELCOME TO
ROCKERS ON BROADWAY
Rockers
On Broadway
was founded by Donnie Kehr in 1993. Inspired by an idea
from Pete Townshend during the Broadway run of "The
Who’s Tommy", they wanted to give musical theatre
performers the opportunity to experience the feeling of
singing with a rock band in a concert style venue, so
they could understand and transfer the rawness and edge
of Rock ’n’ Roll to the stage. These exciting and
memorable events also provided the opportunity to raise
money for worthy charities like Broadway Cares / Equity
Fights Aids and Wingspan Arts, Inc. Over the years,
Rockers On Broadway has donated over $50,000.
As a result of the
continued success of Rockers, the producers are proud to
announce that they have formed a foundation to enable
them to create and produce other charitable events. The
PATH Fund, Inc. was formed to give artists of all kinds
an avenue to share their unique talents while helping
raise money for charities that benefit the arts and
entertainment communities that inspires their
livelihood. Official 501(c)3 status is pending.
