RESULTS OF “ROCKERS ON BROADWAY: Jersey Style
”

Raised Benefiting Wingspan Arts & Broadway Cares/Equity
Fights AIDS
Rockers On Broadway: Jersey Style
(held Monday, January 29, 2007 ) helped raise $27,500
for the nonprofit organizations Wingspan Arts and
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS . Hosted by Caroline
Rhea , star of "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch" and NBC's
hit series "The Biggest Loser," the Rockers On Broadway
event took place at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill and
featured performances by three of the leads from
Broadway's smash hit, Jersey Boys – Daniel Reichard , J.
Robert Spencer and 2006 Tony winner John Lloyd Young ,
along with performances by Deborah Gibson , the
legendary Micky Dolenz from the Monkees, country star
Larry Gatlin, singer/songwriter Kate Taylor , '60s
favorites The Tokens with their smash hit "The Lion
Sleeps Tonight,". Mark Pender from "The Max Weinberg
7," the house band at NBC's "Late Night with Conan
O'Brien" was also on hand to keep the show rockin' well
into the evening along with many of Broadway's favorites
such as Kathy Brier, Tituss Burgess, Donnie Kehr, Jarrod
Emick, Steve Gouveia, Michael Lanning, Billy Porter,
Greg Reuter, Sara Schmidt, Jeremy Schonfeld , and Ty
Taylor . Rockers was produced by Donnie Kehr and Cori
Gardner with Associate Producer, Sandy Hicks, and was
sponsored by Sarah Lee, Macy's, The Frye Company and
Vineyard Vines.
